Arsenal just need to avoid a 5-0 defeat to Standard Liege on Thursday night to make the knockout stages of the Europa League, and even in the tumultuous time the club has been going through, that seems very unlikely.

The Gunners got back to winning ways with a 3-1 win at West Ham in the Premier League on Monday night and interim manager Freddie Ljungberg will be keen to build some momentum in Belgium.

Standard will be going on the offensive as a 5-0 win would see them leapfrog Arsenal in Group F and make the next round.

The reverse fixture finished 4-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates with Gabriel Martinelli scoring twice before Joe Willock and Dani Celballos also scored.
