The Premier League has been the option to scrap VAR while teams will be allowed to make five substitutions during games.

The International Football Association Board (IFAB) has made a temporary amendments to the laws of the game in order for leagues to cope better once they restart.

With players now set to play a high number games in a short period of time in order for the season to finish, teams will now be allowed to make five substitutions during matches in order to reduce fatigue and the risk of injury.
