The race for Champions League qualification is coming to a head and with Manchester City having earned a reprieve from the Court of Arbitration for Sport the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Leicester can ill-afford any more slips.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side dropped two points against Southampton on Monday but will be confident of extending their unbeaten run in all competitions to nine matches when they travel to Selhurst Park.

Leicester will need to bounce back from their shock defeat at Bournemouth against Sheffield United, while at the other end of the table Eddie Howe’s Cherries still need the points in the battle to beat the drop but will not fancy their chances at the Etihad.

As ever, Betfair Ambassador Dimitar Berbatov is here to preview the action…

Burnley vs Wolves

Burnley are doing well and playing some OK football at the moment, they got a good draw against Liverpool last time out. Wolves are still chasing the top four and they will still think that they can surprise people and secretly they will think that they have a good chance to get into the top four, they produce some great football, score some great goals, they are solid as a team and I like to watch them. In this one I’m going to side with Burnley, which will ease the pressure on United. Dimitar’s Prediction: 2-1.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Burnley 4/1, Draw – 12/5, Wolves – 20/21

Man City vs Bournemouth

Guardiola hates losing, and I know that winners hate to lose no matter what game it is, they will still be pushing had in every game and will be going for the win in this one. Sometimes with the smaller teams they produce some good games, Bournemouth certainly had a good second half against Leicester, but then when it really matters they don’t have that consistency, which is the difference. I think they will struggle against City. Dimitar’s Prediction: 4-0.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Man City – 1/6, Draw – 9/1, Bournemouth – 19/1

Newcastle vs Spurs

This will be a good game to watch. Newcastle have done well but they have had a couple of bad results recently and they will be looking to pick themselves back up again and play a bit more. Even though there will be no fans at St Jame’s Park, it will still feel uncomfortable. Newcastle are always up for a fight and I think Spurs will need to work even harder to get something from this one. Dimitar’s Prediction: 2-2.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Newcastle – 4/1, Draw – 3/1, Spurs – 4/5

Arsenal vs Liverpool

As I have said before, if Arsenal don’t fix their deference then they will continue to have problems, especially when you are coming up against a fast front three like Liverpool have, then you will have massive problems. We saw against Spurs how they conceded and I think those mistakes are in some of their players’ DNA, and that will continue if they don’t fix it. Dimitar’s Prediction: 1-2.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Arsenal – 16/5, Draw – 16/5, Liverpool – 10/11

Everton vs Aston Villa

Aston Villa are still fighting and I like them but I think Everton will take what they need in this one, and if they want to be a big team then they will need to up their concentration and consistency. Everton have good players in their team and a top manager, and I do believe that they can become a big team in time. Dimitar’s Prediction: 2-1.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Everton – 11/10, Draw – 11/4, Aston Villa – 14/5

Leicester vs Sheffield United

Ah, my team, Sheffield United, they have done so well this season, they can do my other team Man United a big favour here. I would say that I am going to go for the surprise here, but with the way the teams have been playing I don’t think Sheffield winning would come as a surprise to anyone. I think when they want to, Sheffield United can really play, they were amazing against Spurs and Chelsea. Dimitar’s Prediction: 0-2.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Leicester – 11/1, Draw – 12/5, Sheffield United – 16/5

Crystal Palace vs Man United

If Man United lose this one and the other teams pushing for top four win then it will be very difficult for them to achieve their goal. I know they will be fired up for this on though, and they will know exactly what is at stake, I don’t think they will let themselves miss another opportunity, like they did against Southampton. I hope they can win this one and push on into the top four because I really want to see them in the Champions League again. Dimitar’s Prediction: 0-3.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Crystal Palace – 10/1, Draw – 9/2, Man United – 4/11

Southampton vs Brighton

Southampton are coming off the back of a good performance against Man United, and I honestly think they play some good football, they have some quality in their team, Danny Ings is scoring goals, they pass the ball really well and I think they will be full of confidence. Dimitar’s Prediction: 2-1.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Southampton – 11/8, Draw – 12/5, Brighton – 13/5

West Ham vs Watford

Whoever wins here will feel as though they have taken a big step towards safety. This is a massive game for both teams, neither of them will want to lose so I think this will be quite a tactical battle. When you play against teams like this, there is sometimes a mentality of defend first, and there is a lot at stake here. Maybe we will see a more direct for of football, with both teams kicking it long up front and seeing what happens after that. I have the feeling that Watford will edge this one. West Ham have a good team but they leak goals far too easily at times. Sometimes when you are fighting relegation you need that direct style and to be able to bully defenders like Troy Deeney can do. Dimitar’s Prediction: 0-1.

Betfair Exchange Odds: West Ham – 7/5, Draw – 11/5, Watford – 5/2
