Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wants to see Arsenal make some big signings before he puts pen to paper on a new deal, reports say.

The striker fired Arsenal to their 14th FA Cup trophy on Saturday and Mikel Arteta is desperate for Aubameyang to sign a new contract.

Aubameyang is likely to leave Arsenal this summer if he refuses a new deal as his current contract expires next year.

Arsenal’s failure to secure Champions League have hurt their chances of keeping Aubameyang, but the Gabon international could still stay at the club.

Le 10 Sport claim Aubameyang is eager for Arsenal to make some big moves in the transfer window and is ‘dreaming’ of the Gunners luring Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele to the Emirates.

Dembele, however, has zero interest in leaving Barcelona, even if the Catalan club are keen to raise funds to make some big signings of their own this summer.

Aubameyang is wanted by a host of clubs across Europe and has already told Arsenal his financial conditions to sign a new deal.

But recruitment is also a big factor for Aubameyang and Arsenal have identified several signings that may please their star player.

Former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho, Lyon striker Moussa Dembele, Newcastle’s talisman Allan Saint-Maximin, Wolves striker Raul Jimenez, Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey and Lyon playmaker Memphis Depay are all under consideration at Arsenal.

Arteta, however, will have limited funds to spend this summer which is likely to hinder his efforts to overhaul his squad.

Arsenal chiefs are prepared to give into Aubameyang’s demands, but could still be forced to deal with the exit of a striker.

Alexander Lacazette has been linked with a departure and Aubameyang will expect a big name replacement for his fellow attacker.
