Paris Saint-Germain are not interested in signing Arsenal outcast Matteo Guendouzi this summer, according to reports.

The 21-year-old caused a stir when he grabbed Brighton’s Neal Maupay by the neck in June and has since failed to appear in a single matchday squad for the Gunners.

Guendouzi had a bright start to life at the Emirates, but after being frozen out of the side last season, the midfielder has been linked with moves to the likes of PSG and Valencia.

Mikel Arteta is in the midst of a summer rebuild and has already brought in Willian and Gabriel Magalhaes so far, while Thomas Partey remains a top target.

Atletico Madrid are demanding that his £45million release clause is paid out in full, and the north London club are said to need to raise funds first in order to afford fee.

According to the Telegraph, Guendouzi is one of the players that they are willing to offload, however, PSG have snubbed the opportunity to sign him.

The French champions are keen on Hector Bellerin, though, and the report states that a £25million bid for the right-back is in the works.

Arsenal prefer the Spaniard to remain in north London, but are open to his departure if right offer comes in.

The Gunners have cover with Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Cedric Soares both able to step in at right-back.

Meanwhile, midfielders Lucas Torreira and Mohamed Elneny have also been made available to sell.
