Mikel Arteta’s side have already picked up wins over Rapid Vienna and Dundalk, although so have their opponents on Thursday night.

The Norwegian side have won their last six games in all competitions and will be confident of causing an upset against the Gunners.

Arsenal are coming into the game after an impressive win, though, beating Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon thanks to a penalty from captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Arsenal had been struggling with a lot of injuries but their fitness issues are clearing up and Arteta is only without three players now.

Calum Chambers, Pablo Mari and Gabriel Martinelli all remain some way off a return to first team action.

Runar Runarsson is likely to play in goal again after making his debut in the Gunners’ last European outing.

Arteta said there will be rotation of his team ahead of a Premier League clash with Aston Villa on Sunday, saying: ‘We have to manage the minutes and exposure we give to the players. We have to think what we need.’
