Arsenal have been handed a timely boost ahead of Tuesday’s clash against Wolves with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bukayo Saka pictured in full training on Monday.

The Gunners have been without their captain Aubameyang for their last three matches after he left the country to visit his ill mother.

The Gabon international returned to London last week but had to quarantine and subsequently missed last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference for the Wolves clash earlier on Monday, Mikel Arteta was coy on whether Aubameyang would be available to face Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

But the Gunners striker was pictured in first-team training ahead of the clash at Molineux on Tuesday which may mean his return to action is imminent.

Bukayo Saka missed the United draw due to a hip problem but was also with the group on Monday.

Meanwhile, Kieran Tierney, who has been absent for Arsenal’s last two matches with a calf problem wasn’t spotted in the training pictures.

In-form striker Lacazette trained on Monday after recovering from a heavy challenge with United’s Harry Maguire on Saturday which required him to go to hospital.

The Frenchman was subsequently given the all clear and Arteta is hopeful he will be available to play Wolves.

‘We have to follow the protocols, we have to test him and make an x-ray,’ added Arteta. ‘He was completely fine after the game, he was fine yesterday, he has slept well and I’m expecting him to be available.’
