Arsenal target Manor Solomon says talks are underway over a move from Shakhtar Donetsk to the Premier League, with numerous teams interested in securing his signature in the summer.

The 21-year-old winger has been attracting attention since moving from Maccabi Petah Tikva in his home nation of Israel to Shakhtar Donetsk in 2019.

The diminuitive forwrad was strongly linked with the Gunners in January, while Leeds United have also been credited with an interest in him.

The Israel international has not been too coy about a possible move, saying that discussions have been held over a switch to England where he expects to earn plenty of cash.

‘There are talks with teams from England,’ Solomon told Israeli publication Sport5. ‘There are things that can happen in the summer.

‘My dream is to play in England and it also seems to be the most realistic option for me, and teams in England can pay.’

Solomon’s agent, Ronen Katsav, spoke in January about a move for his client, expecting a deal to be done in the summer.

‘I think the bigger transfers will happen in the summer, because January is always corrections,’ he told Israel’s Radio 5.

‘Secondly, the corona is affecting, and things will be clearer in the summer than now. But anything can happen.’

The exciting forward came close to moving to Manchester City before he even moved to Shakhtar, but his club in Israel priced him out of a move as they tried to make the most out of City’s wealth.

‘They really wanted me and I had a meeting with them but unfortunately it did not work out,’ Solomon told the Guardian.

‘My owner in Israel demanded a lot of money; he wanted €5m for me and then when he heard it was Manchester City, he wanted €10m.’
