Tottenham have a far superior squad to Arsenal and the Gunners defenders will be very concerned ahead of the north London derby, believes Harry Redknapp.

The two sides meet on Sunday afternoon with Spurs looking to keep pace in the race for the top four, while Arsenal want to get in contention for European places of any sort.

Jose Mourinho’s side have certainly had a better season than Mikel Arteta’s so far and Redknapp is not surprised given how he rates the two squads of the north London teams.

The former Spurs boss thinks Tottenham’s players are much better and now Gareth Bale has found some impressive form, they are a force to be reckoned with and the Arsenal defenders will be extremely concerned about what they are facing this weekend.

‘With Gareth playing like he is, you see that Tottenham forward line and if you’re in the opposition dressing room you’re thinking, “Bloody hell, this is going to be a tough day”.’ Redknapp told the Sun.

‘There’s Gareth, Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Dele Alli, Lucas Moura… that’s as good an attacking line-up as any in the country.

‘The Arsenal back four will be looking at them ahead of the game and wondering how they’ll cope, because it’s been hard work for them at times this season.

‘A lot of it will come down to whether Arsenal can raise their game, because there’s no doubt Tottenham have a much better squad. I’ve said it all season.

‘But it’s derby day and we’ve seen how tight they can be… and of course Manchester United went to City and won last week, so you never know.’

Victory for Spurs would see them move to fifth in the table and three points behind Chelsea in fourth.

Arsenal are likely to stay 10th in the division, even if they can get a morale-boosting victory over their local rivals.
