Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Roma have all expressed interest in signing Alexandre Lacazette from Arsenal, according to reports.

French forward Lacazette has scored 61 goals in 161 appearances for Arsenal since signing from Ligue 1 club Lyon in the summer of 2017.

Despite proving to be a key member of Mikel Arteta’s squad at the Emirates, Lacazette has been linked with a move away from north London ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

The 29-year-old will enter the final year of his contract at Arsenal at the end of the season and the Gunners are considering whether to offer him a new deal or look to cash in.

Lacazette has attracted interest from Atletico Madrid throughout the season but ESPN FC say Sevilla and Roma are also interested in securing his signature.

Arteta, meanwhile, has discussed Arsenal’s transfer plans for this summer, insisting the club are ‘planning everything’.

He said: ‘We are planning everything for the summer, the same with the board, with [chief executive] Vinai [Venkatesham], with [non-executive director] Tim [Lewis], and with the owners.

‘We are very clear on how we want to do it. When you have to change 10 or 12 things in one window [as in January] it’s a lot, and that has some consequences with what has happened in previous months and what is going to happen in the following months.

‘We still have to do quite a lot of things to do, but we will get to the point, hopefully, where it’s just ticking off a few things and the stability is there, because you need that as well to be consistent and be competitive.’
