Isco is weighing up his future at Real Madrid and could still decide to leave the club at the end of the season.

Arsenal and Tottenham were among the clubs linked with a move for the Spain international during the January transfer window having struggled for first-team football under Zinedine Zidane this season – starting just four times in the league.

The 28-year-old started back-to-back matches against Atalanta and Real Sociedad in Real’s last two outings and is contention for the starting XI for this weekend’s crucial Madrid derby, with Atletico five points clear of their arch-rivals at the summit of La Liga.

Isco informed Real of his decision to leave the club last November but his changing fortunes could see alter his plans for the summer, according to AS. Whether or not Zidane remains in charge at the Bernabeu could also play a factor.

The report adds Sevilla are interested in bidding for Isco this summer, a move the player could favour to be closer to his hometown of Malaga.

Juventus head coach Andrea Pirlo is also an admirer while clubs in England are said to be monitoring the situation.

Arsenal considered a move for the midfielder during the January transfer window, reported at the time that any deal to bring him to north London would be an initial loan deal.

The Gunners eventually opted for another Los Blancos creator in Martin Odegaard, who has helped fill a creative void in Mikel Arteta’s midfield.

The Norwegian has admitted he would be open to joining Arsenal on a permanent basis at the end of the season. Isco staying at Real beyond this summer could boost their hopes of doing just that.

Isco’s contract with Real expires in 2022 and this summer will present the club with their last chance to cash in before potentially losing him on a free transfer.
